Multi-County
Responsibilities:
As the Aquaculture Extension Educator in Idaho, my
primary responsibility is to form close ties with the aquaculture industry and
others involved with aquaculture to be able to develop and implement an
aquaculture program. I work closely with the District Director, the aquaculture
industry, agencies, Extension and research faculty, and others to organize an
effective advisory committee and to establish priorities. I have leadership
responsibilities to plan, evaluate, and report aquaculture programming in Twin
Falls, Jerome, and Gooding Counties for adults and youth.
Western Regional
Aquaculture Center:
As the aquaculture Extension
contact for Idaho, I work with the Western Regional
Aquaculture Center in several capacities. I serve as the
Extension representative on projects of importance to the
Idaho aquaculture industry. As Extension representative, my
primary responsibilities are to disseminate research results
to industry as they become available, develop Extension
materials pertaining to these projects, and help establish
research priorities.
