This workshop
will help you visualize your retirement life. When do you plan to
retire? Where do you want to live? Will you stay in your current
home or move to another home or even another location? How will
you spend your time in retirement? Maybe you want to work part
time? Would you like to volunteer in the community? Is your
retirement dream to travel as much as possible?
These questions
are not easy to answer and will impact how much you need to save
for retirement. Estimating how much money you will need each year
to make your retirement vision a reality will be discussed. You
will have a chance to complete the American Savings Education
Council’s “Ballpark Estimate,” a quick and easy worksheet for
estimating retirement income needs. The “Ballpark Estimate” will
help you determine how much you need to save annually and each
month.
