Preserve @ Home
is a web-based food preservation class to teach individuals how to
safely preserve a variety of food products. Participants learn
how to produce high quality preserved foods and the science behind
food preservation and food safety. Preserve @ Home can also be
taken as a correspondence course for those who do not have
Internet access.
2005 spring
semester dates for Preserve @ Home (FCS 404/504 Food
Preservations) are:

registration by February 11 with class to begin
the week of February 21.

Summer and fall classes with run with the regular
UI academic semester.
You can download
and print the registration form at the Boundary County website at
http://extension.ag.uidaho.edu/boundary
click on on-line courses and follow the links. Please mail
registration form and class fees (payable to Boundary County
Extension) to the address in the top right hand corner.
If you are
interested in taking the course for UI academic credit, register
for FCS 404/504 Food Preservation (CRN 59621) by going to
http://www.uihome.uidaho.edu/uihome/.
