Nez Perce County 4-H

The Bicycle Safety Program

Bicycle Safety presentations are made in 4th grade classrooms in Lewiston and     Nez Perce County in early spring.

A Bicycle Rodeo, where the youth maneuver an obstacle course with their bikes and the bikes are checked for safety, follows the in-class safety program.

This program is brought to you by a partnership among the University of Idaho Cooperative Extension System in Nez Perce County, the Lewiston Parks & Recreation Department, the Lewiston City Police Department, and the Nez Perce County Sheriffs Department. (since 1973)
