Family and Consumer Science Program is a valuable resource for all types of
families.
Individuals and committees help identify and
prioritize needs and issues affecting county residents.
Then unbiased, research-based information and
educational programs are developed and delivered to help
support and improve the quality of life for Nez Perce
County families.
Program
focus areas include: well-being, nutrition and food
safety, resource management, basic budgeting and debt
reduction, time management, marriage, parenting, and
balancing work and family responsibilities.

Educational programs developed to address issues and
respond to local needs are taught throughout the year.
