About
Extension
The
Extension System is a joint effort of the federal
government,
the County, and the University of
Idaho.
Youth
programs include coordination of the county-wide 4-H
program;
including recruitment, enrollment, leadership training,
community service and a variety of educational events and
opportunities.
Agricultural
and horticultural programs provide advice and University
expertise to area farmers, ranchers and gardeners as well as
small wood-lot, orchard and nursery owners.
The
Master Gardener
program works with volunteers to provide horticulture education
and assistance to the community.
