Kootenai County is northern Idaho's most densely populated county. Coeur d'Alene, the County
Seat, is located on the banks of the beautiful and popular Lake
Coeur d'Alene. Coeur d'Alene lies within 90 miles of two
land-grant universities: The University of Idaho at Moscow
and Washington State University at Pullman.
The University of
Idaho Extension, Kootenai County
Office is located near
downtown Coeur d'Alene. Three faculty and additional support
staff are housed there to address the areas of Forestry, Family
and Consumer Sciences/Nutrition, 4-H/ Youth Development, and
Master Gardener/Horticulture. |
