Horizons Community Leadership to Reduce Poverty

Reaching out, building thriving communities in Idaho
Idaho Horizons is a community leadership program aimed at reducing poverty in small, rural towns in Idaho. The program is funded by the Northwest Area Foundation in partnership with University of Idaho Extension.

Beginning in 2005, Idaho Horizons has worked with
over 50 communities to help reduce poverty and
increase local leadership capacity in order to empower citizens to make rural Idaho a place where everyone
has the opportunity to thrive.
