Scholarships Available for 4-H Members
(This is a brief explanation of deadlines and amounts.  For more information contact your county extension office.)

Below are scholarships available for 4-H members.  Some of these scholarships are also on the Idaho 4-H website (http://www.4h.uidaho.edu).  Scroll down to "Scholarships."  Application forms can also be picked up at the Extension Office.

Idaho Attorney General's Scholarship.  Two $750 scholarships to incoming freshmen, any Idaho state funded college.  Applicants need 3 years in either Idaho 4-H or FFA, will be selected by March 15.

Idaho 4-H Endowment Scholarship.  Eight $1,000 scholarships, 6 for first year college students, 2 for 2,3,4 years.  Minimum GPA of 2.5, between ages of 16 and 20, and minimum 4 years 4-H membership.  Applications due y April 17.

Magic Valley Bank Scholarship.  $500 scholarship based on designing an advertising campaign, or writing an essay (500 words or less) representing your idea of community service.  Due April 18.

O. M. Plummer Memorial Scholarship. Given to one outstanding 4-H member from Idaho who has participated in the Pacific International Livestock Exposition.  Applications postmarked by April 15.

4-H Wildlife Habitat Judging Contest Scholarship.  $500, $300, $100 awarded to top three individuals in senior division of the State 4-H Wildlife Habitat Judging Contest.  Contest held April 29.

Idaho Crop Production Association Scholarship.  Five $1,000 scholarships to students in an agricultural field, attending U of I, CSI, or BYU-I.  Three for college students, two for high school seniors, deadline February 17.
