  • Master Food Preservers
For help with all your canning needs, we have three excellent Master Food Preservers in Gooding County.  These women receive regular updates in the latest food preservation information, are vitally interested in all aspects of food preservation, and are involved in doing food preservation themselves.
    Peggy Candy, 208-837-6297, ydnac@magiclink.com
    Karen McHan, 208-934-8629, karen-mchan@yahoo.com
    Arlene Shaw, 208-934-5132, markarlenenuts@yahoo.com

Canning directions are generally written for sea level.  Adjustments need to be made in the directions for our altitude.  Your canning book or recipe should tell you the adjustments for altitude.
