County through education, application of knowledge, and the
development of leadership skills.
General Services
The Elmore County Cooperative Extension
Service is a partnership between the United States Department of
Agriculture, the University of Idaho College of Agriculture, and
Elmore County. Research-based education is offered by
trained professionals and volunteers in agriculture, family and
consumer science and 4-H.
The Extension Building is also the home of the
Elmore County Fair head office. If you have questions about
the upcoming fair, or would like vendor information, please call the
Fair Manager, Kate Ackerson at 208-587-2136, ext. 287.
The 2008 Fair's theme is "Country Dreams and Old
Blue Jeans" and will be open to the public from July 16th through the
19th. There will be a carnival, a midway, concerts, Junior Rodeo
and Bull Riding. Come join us! ICA Rodeo will be held on
July 25th and 26th...mark your calendars!
