unemployment rate as of December 2007 was 3/1%.

proportion of Hispanic residents grew from 9.0% in 1980, to 13.4%
in 1990, to 23.5% in 2006.
¨ The
influx of Hispanics into Idaho intensified from mide-2005 and
mid-2006. The Census Bureau estimated that the population of
Idaho's largest minority jumped nearly 6.4 percent, more than
twice the state's overall population growth rate.
