Boulder Mountain Youth Camp

Camp in 2007 is July 10-13.  Registration forms for youth counselors youth assistant counselors, youth ambassadors and adult counselors are available in April  and will be accepted until May.  Interviews will be held to determine who will serve as youth counselors and ambassadors.

All youth counselors and ambassadors must attend all orientation and training sessions. Anybody not able to attend these necessary trainings will not be able to serve as camp counselors. This is especially essential to any first time counselor and all ambassadors.

In the spring we will start recruiting adult cabin leaders, counselors, assistant counselors and ambassadors.  Ambassadors are youth helpers who will assist the youth counselors. All counselors and ambassadors are chosen by interview.  We have need for more adult volunteers for 2007 (especially men).  Please consider attending camp as an adult volunteer.  It's really fun - and we need your help! Adult volunteers attend free of charge with all meals provided.

Sign up for campers generally begins May 15 on a first come first serve basis.  We do not consider a camper "signed up" until we have payment and all of the necessary paperwork.  We also can not allow "holding" spots with payment.  We have to be as fair as possible. There will be a cut-off date for receiving applications.  After guaranteed camping spots are taken, a waiting list will be established for any available spots created by cancellation.  Those on the waiting list will be contacted as to whether or not we have room for more Blaine County Campers.  Sometimes guaranteed spots are all gone by May 16, so sign up right away!

Forms can be picked up at the Blaine County Extension Office.
