St. Maries Farmer's Market

The St. Maries Farmer's Market Association is a community-based organization developed to support area agricultural producers.  The farmer's market is held every Friday starting May 16, 2008 thru September 27, 2008 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm in downtown St. Maries, adjacent to the Hughes Historical House on Main Street.

The farmer's market is under the direction of the Farmer's Market Steering Committee comprised of 7 members from the local farming community and citizens of St. Maries and the surrounding area.  The day-to-day operation of the market will be handled by the designated Market Manager.  The steering committee will choose the Market Manager(s).  The annual membership fee is $30.  Memberships are due 1 week prior to the opening of the market.  After the market opens for the season the membership fee is $40. For non-members there is a one-day vending fee at the market of $10.  The St. Maries Farmer's Market is an "Idaho Preferred" Market.

The Mission

To provide the community with fresh, locally grown agricultural products and provide producers with a market to sell their products.  We believe a farmer's market helps bring the community together and is an asset to the local economy.
