Greetings from the New 4-H Educator
Hi everyone! I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am very excited to be working in the Bannock County 4-H Office. It feels like home to me. I grew up as a 4-H’er in Bannock County participating in Home Ec and Miscellaneous projects. I attended Teen Conference, National 4-H Congress, was a 4-H Ambassador and I had my own 4-H club when I was 16. I LOVE 4-H and have wanted to be a 4-H Educator for a long time. This is a dream come true for me!
My main goal for right now is to increase the number of 4-H’ers in the program by ten percent each year for the next five years. 4-H was a big part of my life and know the impact 4-H can have on a child. I want to see more clovers in Bannock County.
The next time you are in the office say hello! I look forward to meeting all of you and working with you. If you have any questions or concerns please call (236-7306) or email (mcummins@uidaho.edu) me.

Wanted: Pictures of 4-H’ers
4-H
staff members and volunteers are invited to submit entries for a statewide
photograph bank that will be used in promotional materials for 4-H Youth
Development programs, such as the state 4-H website, Idaho 4-H Today, and the
Annual Report.
Photos should be of 4-H members and adult volunteers involved in 4-H activities, and may be in color or black and white. We are particularly interested in photos showing the 4-H clover or other identifiers, and which support the 4-H program emphasis on "learning by doing."
Photos may be submitted in digital form to:
Mary Uravich
State 4-H Office
P.O. Box 443015
Moscow, ID 83844-3015
Digital photos should be high density or of a quality to permit reproduction in print. Photo subjects must have a signed permission to use photos on file in your county office. Photos may be submitted at any time; those received by June 30 may be included in the 2008-2009 Idaho 4-H Today Project Guide or 2008 Annual Report.
The photo bank is not affiliated with the annual statewide 4-H in Idaho Photo Contest. Photographs submitted in response to this announcement may also be separately
entered in the photo contest.
