The University of Idaho
in cooperation with the Bannock County Board of
Commissioners provides education in the areas of nutrition, food
safety and preparation, consumer rights and responsibilities,
crops and horticulture, pest management and animal health and
production. They also administer the 4-H Program.
Agricultural Extension is a non-formal education system that
links the education and research activities of the U.S.
Department of Agriculture, University of Idaho and other
land grant Universities with county residents.
