Advanced Master Gardener Class

Advanced Master Gardener is a term used to describe Master Gardeners who remain in the MG Program after completing their beginning MG certification.  Each year the AMG class schedule is customized to fit the interests of the group.

The Advanced Master Gardener Program (AMG) is a series of in depth educational classes planned for the Treasure Valley to help update and strengthen gardening skills and knowledge.  Participants in the AMG course are expected to attend 40 hours of AMG classes and complete 30 hours of hands-on practicum.  

The Advanced Master Gardener (AMG) course for each year is held at the Ada County Extension Office beginning in January.  If you wish to be placed on the information list for the next year and you are a certified Idaho Master Gardener, complete the AMG application, return it to the Ada County Extension Office by September 1st.  The cost for the AMG class is $50.00.
