IANCDEP Summer Meeting   
July 8, 2005   Coeur d’ Alene Casino, Worley Idaho

 Attending:

  Chris Schnepf, Bill Hubbard, Valdasue Steele, Sarah Howe, Paul McCawley, Ron Mahoney, Laura Laumatia 

1. Minutes from April meeting were approved as read.
2. Treasures Report – The association currently has 12 paid.  Beginning balance was $116 and ending balance after the summer tour is $110.28.
3. PILD – Ron Mahoney reported on the PILD Leadership conference that he attended this past spring in Washington D.C. and encouraged those whom have not attended to do so.
4. Summer 2006 meeting
1. The summer 2005 meeting was a great tour although attendance was disappointing. 
2. For 2006 it is proposed that this fall planning will begin for summer 2006.  Suggestions for 2006 include contacting related topic team leaders to see if a summer meeting can be held in conjunction with team planning.  It was also suggested to invite other partner agencies for field tour activities. 
5. Awards – The group will go forward in pursing the offering of three awards – Innovative Program Award; Community Partnership Award; and Educational Media Award.  Sarah Howe will draft criteria for each award. It was decided that people could also submit their efforts to the appropriate national association separately from the IANCDEP awards.
6. Website – Valdasue Steele will work on developing a website for the association.
7. 2006 JCEP Auction – IANCDEP is in charge of the 2006 JCEP auction in Idaho Falls.  Ron Mahoney will lead the committee.
